Mary is home and doing well. No staples/stiches, just tape. We are forcing her to rest as much as possible and ensuring she has little reason or ability to do otherwise. We have a follow-up appointment on Monday, so more news then. She’s checking e-mail (heck, she was playing EVE in the hospital), so have at her.
As you can see from the previous post, I’m a cyborg. I think I liked it better with the wrap, but I’m envisioning many enhancements to the pin setup, including LEDs. We’ll see how steady my hand is (right hand is my soldering hand).
The hand, in a word, hurts. Typing. Lifting. Cooking. Etc. All hurts. As an example, Tori had to deal with the mashed potatoes last night since I couldn’t even hold the wisk.
On top of the hand, I’m the throes of the worst virus I’ve ever had in my life. Something that feels like it would have swept through a third-world village and destroyed everyone.
On the work front, the sale news has only made an increasingly bad job situation that much worse. Can’t go into more details publicly on job stuff, tho. Hit me up via e-mail for more details.
However, with Mary doing much better, the kids all doing well and me just being gimpy and sick, we have little to really grumble about, especially when you juxtapose our situation with, say, the cyclone victims in Burma.
More details to come as they happen (and as I can type).
