Tackling one of the more controversial American conspiracy theories, the science nerds over at MythBusters plan on undertaking the Apollo Moon Landing hoax theories in an upcoming episode. An apparent consultant for the show reveals that the build team of Kari, Grant and Tory traveled to Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama and set up a vacuum chamber to test, amongst other things, if a flag can wave in a vacuum. Early rumors had the air date of April 25, but that myth has since been debunked.

The AP reports that a blaze broke out in a foie gras production facility in upstate NY killing 15,000 ducks. They were one of only three domestic producers of the fatty livers.

Foie gras is nasty and I’m sure the ducks were not “free range” during the day, so I’m not sorry the facility is closed. All cuisine jokes aside, this was an awful event and I hope there is more oversight in the remaining two facilities as a result.

Thans to finally re-finding Energy Fiend, I now know that it would take ~122 consecutive cans of Monster energy drink to have me feeling a bit like the ex-parrot from Monty Python.

Thankfully, I could enjoy ~251 bottles of Coke Blak before losing that livin’ feelin’.

However, a mere ~46 cups of Starbucks coffee (tall) would do me in…and I think I’ve come close to that once or twice.
