<p>A paper by PhilK &amp; I on the Windows Vista Firewall - <b>Microsoft Vista Firewall; Dissected</b> - (Phil did the heavy lifting on this one) is now <a href="http://sans.org/reading_room/whitepapers/firewalls/1861.php?portal=0b0368ea5360130b890143af39ab1c3c">up on SANS</a> in their <a href="http://sans.org/reading_room/?portal=fe1215fba7f4f65d085c20fe483f0bf5">Reading  Room</a>.</p>
<p>You should find some interesting things you might not be aware of, including policy management &amp; distribution and how to skirt past the beast - even without being an administrator.</p>
