In my (lately) infrequent viewing of hosted Google mail, I noticed the following (click for bigger image):

At least this shows that even the might Google can strike out once in a while (which makes the difficulties of the past few weeks just a tad easier to deal with).

HardMac reports that Google Talk now works in Safari. I’ve confirmed that this is true, but not for Google hosted domains.

Nonetheless, this is still cool and makes the Mac a first-class Google citizen. Now I just need to see if it works in Mobile Safari! UPDATE: It doesn’t.
